Let this be Written

 Let this be written for a future generation
   that a people not yet created may praise the Lord
 Let them know that He is worthy to be praised
 His power and majesty are evident in the creations all around us
 His unending love all before us to embrace
 No time has He abandoned those who put their trust in Him
 No man can make Him to give up on us however sinful we maybe

Oh come and taste the goodness of the Lord
Bow down and worship the One who made the heaven and earth
The foolish can tell that there's no God
But those who have eyes to see and ears to hear
can only raise their voices in praises
Even the blind have raised their voices in worship
thanking the Lord for His goodness and mercy
the lame had walked in His strength
and the mute have voiced God's goodness in great paintings
Even if the mankind go  silent and tell no more of God's greatness
the birds and butterflies, the trees and mountains
the stars above and oceans below would shout and declare them
for generation not yet created to praise and pray to the God almighty!

Psalm 71 in my words

O God, I'll always have hope
And I'll praise You more and more
Doubts and dryness do come and go
but I'll continue to grow in You day by day

My mouth will tell of Your righteousness
Of Your faithfulness  all day long
I will continue to proclaim Your mighty acts
O Sovereign Lord
though I know not its measure

Since my youth, O God, You have taught me
And to this day, I declare Your marvelous deeds
Even when I'm old and gray as I'm today
I declare Your goodness to the next generation.

Your righteousness reaches to the skies
Your amazing grace stretches out like vast oceon
Though You have made me walk through troubles
some bitter and painful
Yet, You were there always to walk beside me
Your presence never left me to face the struggle alone

I will praise You till my last breath
My mouth shall praise You with joyful lips
My tongue will tell of Your righteous acts all day long
Yes, my God, I will continue to worship forever!

Revere the Lord at all times

O Heavenly Father,
Your Word is right and true
You are faithful in all You do
You love righteousness and justice
this earth is full of Your unfailing love

By Your Word the heavens were made
The breath of Your mouth brought forth the starry host
You spoke and it came to be
You commanded and the waters of the sea stood in its places

Who are we Almighty God to argue with You
Or to rebell against Your ways?
We may think we are winning in our ways
But the end will teach us who is in the winning end
In Your grace, You forgive us again and again
In Your love, You await patiently for our return

Let us all fear You in reverence
Let us worship You in utter devotion
Let our mouths praise You with joyful lips
And let our walk reveal Your grace and power to the world!

Examine me , my Lord

Examine me O Lord,
Test me and try me
See whether there's anything in me
that grieves Your heart
Any doing of me acted in selfishness
Instead of love and kindness
Is there a dark part in my heart
that I wouldn't allow Your love to reach
Or any doubts in my mind
that wouldn't allign with my faith
Help me to see me as You see me in Your righteousness
Pardon me in Your mercy, if I have ever offended You in my pride
Cleanse my heart and mind
So that I'd be worthy to be calledYour follower
Chaste me then and there
When I act out of love and in disobedience
And do not ever let me be the hypocrite
whose talk rarely match the walk.

I ask You my Lord in sure earnesty
to live a life that always please You
with no tinge of darkness to overshadow
the Light You desire to shine through me.

Let my Mouth be Filled with Your Praises

O God, You are my God
You are worthy of my praises
All day and night
Who am I to come before Your presence
Yet You delight when I come
You hear my prayers from heaven
Even the silent and groaning ones
Like a father that pitieth His children in trouble
You heeds to my cry and always come to my rescue
And like a father who acts in tough love
You at times says no to my request
or say "wait " for my ownsake.
But there is no time you've refused to hear me
nor let me abandoned with no help.

"Do not fear!....Have faith," You say to me again and again
And I cry, " Increase my faith, so I'll believe more and fear less."
What a blessing to have come to worship a loving God like You
A holy and merciful One with all power and glory
Though I'm not worthy to come into Your presence
In Your love, You've called me to be Your own
And sent Your Son to redeem me and show the way to You

I thank and praise You my God forever
Let my mouth be filled with Your praises day and night
Help me to walk in Your ways with love in my heart
And guard me from the pitfalls of falsehood and pride.

Psalm 84 in my words

"My soul yearns, even faints
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God."
So cried the psalmist in Psalm 84
And I too, this morning cry out to you
yearning dearly for your presence.

"Blessed are those who dwell in your house,
they are ever praising you, the psalmist further said
I too long to dwell in Your presence
day and night
praising and praying to my heart content
Blessed we become when our strength is in You
and our hearts are set on pilgrimage towards You
And we go from strength to strength
till we appear before You in heaven

Hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty
Listen to my plea, and come to my rescue
Better is one day in Your presence
than thousand days elsewhere;
I'd rather be seated at Your feet
learning of You and delighting in Your presence
than seated on high places parading my worthyness

You have been my sun and the shield
You have bestowed favor and kindness on me
No good thing have You withheld from me
No time have You left me abandoned.

I would praise You with all my heart
And with all my strength I would love You
Help me to keep me love You till the end
And see that my lips praise You till my last breath.

Be Still and Delight in His Presence

Lord,
In Your  presence, I want to kneel still in silence
I want to embrace Your holiness
And say nothing, but wait in adoration
Like a deer pants for water
I too thirst for You day after day
I hunger after Your righteousness
so that my life would become beautiful to You

Though I long to spend more time at dawn in Your presence
And learn of You more and more
I find myself sleeping more and doing other things
for which I regret later.
Lord, wake me up to seek You more

Let me enter Your presence
with thanksgiving and praises
Let my prayers be all worship
And let them become sweet aroma in Your presence
Let them become more about You
And less about my needs
Lord, I love You and want to dwell in Your presence more
For You are worthy to be loved and worshipped for ever more.
