Hazy vision
I can see and understand only a little of You now, O God
It's hazy and blurry at times
Like a little reflection on a fogged mirror
With such a poor vision and understanding
I try to estimate Your love and power
How foolish I can be
How stupidly I get angry with you at times
Can the tiny ant know who I am or what I do?
Does it have knowledge to judge me for what I do
It may know all about its own ant world
How to follow its ant mates in a line
find its food and carry it safely without dropping it
But does it know anything of what man does or
capable of doing it?
Does it know about the stars in the sky?
or ships that sail in the sky?
Does it know anything about man landing on the moon
Or about Google and Internet we are familiar with
If we can't expect ant to know about me and my doing
How can I, with my finite mind fathom Your love and doing my God, Almighty One?

I will lift up my eyes to my God
I will lift up my eyes to my God
From whom comes my help
My help comes from God, Almighty
Who made heaven and earth.
My Lord will not allow my foot be moved
He who has kept me so far will not slumber
Behold, the One in whom I put my trust
Shall neither slumber nor sleep
The Lord is my keeper
He is the shield and shade for me
In His arm, I'm always safe
In His will, I'm always secured.
The Lord, who has called me
Shall preserve my soul till the end
He will direct my path
And preserve my being now and forevermore
From whom comes my help
My help comes from God, Almighty
Who made heaven and earth.
My Lord will not allow my foot be moved
He who has kept me so far will not slumber
Behold, the One in whom I put my trust
Shall neither slumber nor sleep

You are my God
You are my God, and I will give You my praises
You are my God, and I will bow before You with thanksgiving
In my anguish, whenever I cry unto You
You always came to my aid in compassion
Like a mother towards her child in the cradle
I know I don't need to worry nor fear
When I have You always with me.
Am I worthy to deserve such love my God
Am I worthy to be called thine child?
What have I done to earn such love
How can I repay Your kindness and faithfulness
day after day?
You are my God, and I will bow before You with thanksgiving
In my anguish, whenever I cry unto You
You always came to my aid in compassion
Like a mother towards her child in the cradle
I know I don't need to worry nor fear
When I have You always with me.
Am I worthy to deserve such love my God
Am I worthy to be called thine child?
What have I done to earn such love
How can I repay Your kindness and faithfulness
day after day?

Is there a loving God?
If there is God, why so much pain and suffering in this world
ask people who have no faith
If there is no God, how come so much good happening in this world
question those who put their faith in a God.
Who are we Lord to question Your existence or absence
with our limited knowledge and understanding?
Can an ant fathom the proceedings of a human being?
Or can it analyse the strategy of human thinking for it's extermination
No, it cannot and will not
And, so are we, in our finite mind and ability before Sovereign God
then why do we waste arguing about His goodness or justice in matters
we neither understand nor foresee with our human resources.
The source of evil is not the absence of a loving God
but the freedom He gave to the mankind in His love
Because He didn't want us to be His puppets
He gave us the freedom to choose good and evil
The pain, suffering and the evil on earth are nothing
but the results of our doing and our choice of the freedom given
Yes, it's easy to point upwards for all the mishaps we face on this earth
than to accept and acknowledge our part in the play that has turned tragic
So, let us take time to examine ourselves before judging the love of God
And see how we could repair the damage and represent His love and mercy
so that others would acknowledge the existence of a loving God
because we became His hands and feet to reveal His goodness to the world!
ask people who have no faith
If there is no God, how come so much good happening in this world
question those who put their faith in a God.
Who are we Lord to question Your existence or absence

Why, why...Oh why my Lord?
Why, why....Oh why my Lord?
Why was the question many of us asked
when we learned to talk in the tender years of toddler hood
And why is the question we ask even today in our graying years of life
Many of us would go to our graves still asking the question why?
If we could find answers to all the whys we ask
Who knows, we may not even turn to God to worship
that may be the reason, God has kept our questions unanswered at times
and made us to realize the limitation of our thinking and doing.
How can we not ask the question why
When we see what's going around us in this world
Why do some suffer so much and for too long
while some rarely know even the pinch of pain
Why do so many children cry out in hunger
while some kids in another part of the world diet to keep in shape
Why do kids growing up amidst abuse, hunger and violence
put in jail for stealing to survive or put food on the table for family to eat
while those in higher ranking stay free out in the world
in spite of mega crime and corruption they've committed
Why, why oh why
That's why the world in hunger and injustice are crying out today
Politicians have failed them; religion have failed them
with no one to give them the answer and no one to come to their aid
they have turned their question to You, Sovereign God
Because they cannot see or hear You to find answer to their misery
they keep doing what they know to do and go on crying which no one see or hear.
Is it fair or is it right, my righteous God?
That's my question for You today
It's easy for me to tell the poor and abandoned, to trust in God and to take comfort
But, if I'm in their shoes, I too would snort and walk away
for if no godly want to look at me and love me not in words, but in action
I wouldn't want to love and trust their God either.

Hear my Prayer, O Lord
"Hear, and O Lord and answer me,
for I am poor and needy.
Guard my life for I am devoted to You.
You are my Lord ; save Your servant
who trusts in You.
Have mercy on me, O Lord,
for I call to you all day long.
Bring joy to Your servant,
for to You , O Lord
I lift up my soul.
You are forgiving and good , O Lord,
abounding in love to all who call to You.
Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my cry for mercy,
In the day of my trouble I will call to you
for you will answer me.
(Psalm 86:1-7)
for I am poor and needy.
Hear my prayer, O Lord;
listen to my cry for mercy,
In the day of my trouble I will call to you
for you will answer me.

The Offering
"Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom
and knowledge of God1
How unsearchable his judgments
and His paths beyond tracing out!
Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been His counselor?
Who has ever given to God
that God should repay him?
For from Him and through Him and to Him
are all things.
To Him be the glory forever! Amen"
(Doxology)
The glory belongs to God and not to me
for whatever good or great I do
it's through Him and by Him, I do
It's in His strength, I'm able to do the impossible
It's by His grace, I'm able to walk in love and share love
It's in His wisdom, I look life and the world with a different perspective
It's in His mercy, I learned to show mercy to others
So, without Him, I'm nothing and I've nothing to boast about
But with Him, I've everything to boast about
If I believe, my life is a gift from Him
Then, what I do with my life is a gift I give to Him!
and knowledge of God1
How unsearchable his judgments
and His paths beyond tracing out!
Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been His counselor?
Who has ever given to God
that God should repay him?
For from Him and through Him and to Him
are all things.
To Him be the glory forever! Amen"
